Madame Butterfly

Madame Butterfly will be seen a lot to promote the opera, on posters and on the packaging itself, so it needs a 'brand' so that once it is seen, it will be known.

The brand needs to reflect the japanese culture and be very simplistic

Some of the japanese designs have hand drawn aspects to them, I have hand drawn the butterfly image, to give it a natural delicate feel to it

New stamps.. which will be on the front of the yearbook.. next step is to make them look more stamp like, scanning in the texture.. erasing some parts, making it look rough..

After a few meetings, we were discussing how the stamp could be made to look more stamp like, I have tried doing this by changing the stroke on the stamp lines.. they weren't keen on the stars at all.. and weren't 100% on board with the lines..
